🗣️ Structure of the Speaking Part
-
The speaking exam usually takes about 15–20 minutes and is conducted face-to-face with one or two examiners. It is divided into several parts:
1️⃣ Personal Introduction
You will answer simple questions about:

Your name and background
-
Your family
-
Work or studies
-
Daily routine
-
Hobbies and free time
-
Life in the Czech Republic
👉 The examiner wants to see if you can speak naturally about familiar topics.
2️⃣ Picture Description
You will receive a picture and must:

Describe what you see
-
Say what the people are doing
-
Explain the situation
-
Possibly give your opinion
For example, you might describe:

People shopping
-
A family dinner
-
A public office
-
A workplace
You should speak in full sentences and use different tenses where possible.
3️⃣ Role-Play / Practical Situation
You will act out a real-life situation, such as:

Making plans
-
Solving a problem
-
Making a complaint in a shop
-
Asking for information
This part checks whether you can:

Ask and answer questions
-
React appropriately
-
Communicate clearly in everyday Czech situations
